Does Issaquah Sportsmen’s Club offer rental firearms?

No. Visitors must provide their own firearms or arrive with a group that intends to share equipment.

Are there any age limits for the range?

This is an understandably difficult question to address. Everyone is welcome if they are well behaved, protected, and able to follow all safety protocols on the range. More specific questions can be addressed in person or over the phone during our regular business hours.

What distances are available on the range?

The rifle range has lanes for 100yd, 50yd and 25yd postings. The pistol range has 25yd, 50ft, 10yd, and 7yd target postings.

Are there any caliber or ammunition restrictions?

All commercially available calibers except 50BMG or larger are welcome. While shotguns are allowed on the range, birdshot and buckshot are restricted to a single lane. Slugs are welcome anywhere on the rifle line. ISC does allow the use of steel core, steel case, and aluminum case ammunition. No incendiary or armor piercing ammunition is allowed at any time.

Are bows or crossbows allowed on the range?

No. ISC has an archery range on the premises for that purpose. See our page here for more info.

Are ‘standard capacity’ magazines, suppressors, or other NFAitems allowed?

Yes absolutely. Items that are not legal for civilian ownership in Washington State may be addressed.

What kinds of targets may be used?

You may bring your own paper or cardboard targets or choose to purchase them from the check-in desk. While silhouettes are acceptable, no detailed person-type targets are allowed.

How often are targets allowed to be posted?

A new ceasefire is called approximately every 20 minutes for the purpose of posting or inspecting targets.
